Louisiana Fly Fishing Charters Captain, Greg Moon, has been an avid fisherman his entire life. A native of Southern California, he grew up with saltwater in his blood and fish on the brain. As a child, Captain Greg Moon would spend his days, 9 foot rod in hand, perusing the jetties chasing schools of Bonita. Later, he recalls spending his days out at sea watching his backing disappear on yellowtail, Mako sharks, and the pelagic fish that roam the Pacific, while his friends were surfing.

Of my thirty-two years on this earth I have been fishing twenty-six. I learned from an extremely young age just how addicting fishing truly could be. I started my fishing tenure chasing large mouth bass in the back waters of Southern Louisiana. I knew from those first topwater blow-ups that fishing had to be a major part of my life. After getting my first fly-rod at 12, I discovered there was a whole new obsession out there and it was far stronger than I ever knew.
